4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for their projects.

Offer details
Legal disclaimers, if applicable
Any required approvals

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs, artwork, copy, offers, addresses, routes, and campaign details before production or mailing.

Once a project is approved, changes may not be possible, or additional fees may apply.

5. Artwork, Design, and Proof Approval

EDDM Omaha may assist with design, layout, copy, or campaign recommendations.

Before printing or mailing, the client must review and approve the final proof. Approval may be given by email, form submission, written message, or another accepted communication method.

Client approval confirms that:

Spelling and grammar have been reviewed
Phone numbers, URLs, QR codes, and addresses are correct
Offers, disclaimers, and expiration dates are correct
Logos, images, and layout are approved
Mailing routes or delivery areas are approved
The project is ready for production

EDDM Omaha is not responsible for errors that were present in an approved proof.

6. Mailing and Delivery

EDDM Omaha may coordinate mailing through USPS Every Door Direct Mail or other mailing services.

Mailing timelines are estimates and may be affected by:

USPS processing times
Weather
Holidays
Production delays
Route availability
Addressing or mailing requirements
Other factors outside our control

EDDM Omaha cannot guarantee the exact day a mail piece will arrive in a recipient’s mailbox.

7. Marketing Results

EDDM Omaha may provide campaign strategy, response-rate examples, projections, or marketing recommendations.

However, marketing results are not guaranteed.

8. Payments

Payment terms will be provided before a project begins.

Depending on the project, full payment or a deposit may be required before design, printing, postage, or mailing services begin.

Artwork corrections
Mailing list changes
Route changes
Rush requests, if available
Reprints
Shipping or delivery changes
Project changes after approval

Unpaid balances may delay production, mailing, or delivery.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Because direct mail and print projects involve custom work, cancellations and refunds depend on the stage of the project.

A cancellation may be possible before design, print, postage, or mailing work has started.

Once a project has entered design, production, printing, postage processing, or mailing preparation, some or all fees may be non-refundable.

Custom printed materials, approved designs, postage, and completed services are generally not refundable.

10. Third-Party Services

EDDM Omaha may work with third-party providers such as printers, mailing providers, USPS, software platforms, website tools, analytics providers, payment processors, or advertising platforms.

We are not responsible for delays, errors, outages, pricing changes, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on eddmomaha.com, including text, graphics, layouts, images, branding, logos, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to EDDM Omaha unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use website content without written permission.

Client-provided logos, images, copy, and brand materials remain the property of the client or their respective owners.

By submitting materials to EDDM Omaha, you confirm that you have the right to use those materials and authorize EDDM Omaha to use them for your project.

12. Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, EDDM Omaha may display completed project samples, designs, or campaign examples in its portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, or case studies.

If a client prefers that a project remain private, they should request this in writing.

13. Prohibited Content

EDDM Omaha reserves the right to refuse projects that include content we determine to be unlawful, misleading, deceptive, offensive, infringing, or inappropriate.

This may include content involving:

False or misleading claims
Copyright or trademark infringement
Illegal products or services
