The 3-Second Mailbox Rule
When a homeowner pulls their mail from the mailbox, you have roughly 3 seconds to capture their attention before they sort it into 'keep' or 'recycle'. Visual clutter and tiny text are conversion killers.
5 Essential Design Elements for High Response
- Bold, Problem-Solving Headline: State the primary benefit immediately in large, high-contrast font. E.g., "Is Your AC Ready for Omaha's Summer Heat?"
- Oversized Dimensions (6.5" x 9" or 6" x 11"): Standard letter envelopes disappear. Oversized postcards physically stick out above all other mail pieces.
- High-Resolution Imagery: Show real local people, completed projects, or appetizing dishes—avoid generic AI stock photos whenever possible.
- Clear Call-to-Action (CTA) Box: A high-contrast box with a bold phone number and scan-to-claim QR code.
- Trust Signals & Social Proof: Include Google review star ratings, local address, "A HuskerPrint Company" badge, or BBB logo.
